Ethics Vp39s

...we live in continuous change, and...as we change for the better or worse, we are called happy or unhappy... In this life, then, we strive especially that the infant's body may change (as much as its nature allows and assists) into another, capable of a great many things and related to a mind very much conscious of itself, of God, and of things.
- B. de Spinoza

So doesn't this count as doing the philosopher thing? You know interpreting the whole birth/childrearing experience through your favorite philosopher; For Fynsk it is all about the entry into language, for Pensky it is all about the Kholberg's theory of moral development, and now for you it is all about the transformations from passive to active affects.

I am just teasing, I really thought that your blog needed comments.

...just so long as neither of us start writing papers about parenthood or child development, I think we're salvageable...
